The St Lorenzo Society LIVES!

Next year will be the 100th anniversary of my Dad’s birth. October 1919 Anthony Charles DePasquale was born in the village and commune of Gamberale in the Province of Chieti in the Abruzzo region of central Italy.

 

It is time to celebrate his birth and the lives of all of his parents, brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts and all that moved as a group from Gamberale to Pittsburgh in search of freedom and avoid persecution.

 

Late summer 2019 is the target date to organize a massive return to Gamberale to commentate the lives and blessings of these courageous people. To return to the place where they were born and lived and meet the people of Gamberale now living there and give our thanks.
